and if taking away a layer has just as much of an effect as having added that layer beforehand, then in some sense the future is the past. if subtracting a layer pushes a track forward, or signifies the next section of a track, in some sense it is retrocausal. and the future becomes the past.

and thus in reality we pile on, and then when things get subtracted it feels like the timeline of reality is not actally linear, it is non linear. its almost circular.
