as i sit and eat in this japanese restaurant- it is very japanese style in its own japanese way. it's so perfect in its isness. like the whole idea of japan, japanese, japanese way of things, the isness of japan, is so interesting. and this manifests in all cultures. the indian aesthetic, indian taste, etc. like every region has its own perfect isness—and its so strange that there is the emergence of this. like there is this energy if japanese that is pervasive across all things japanese. like it's so strange how aesthetically it's not like the natural emergence of japanese food from japanese culture was like american food. same with language etc. it all fits neatly in its isness. how is this so? is this evidence that i am hallucinating all this? given how it could be a fragment of my mind- the japan way, the indian way, the lebanese way, etc. like middle eastern food tastes "middle eastern"—what does that mean?? how does it all fit so well, and how does it all manifest in this way: how is it not all a messy confabulation.??
