with regards to weight loss. time and practiced one does turns into blocks of the past. like me not walking, and wishing to have done walking past two weeks highlights this point. these activities-in the moment-feel grueling mundane, unsubstantial and pedestrian. but these actually turn into time blocks in the past. that's how i was able to lose weight so much in the year. if i adopt that mental framing of the present turning into time blocks of the past. that's it. another essay: i am a series of memories of my future self. this is why small moves, small steps, small details, are powerful. they turn into time blocks.
