"I mostly listen to a lot of other ambient experiments artists like Nils Frahm, John Hopkins, and Taylor Deupree., as well as film soundtracks. I don’t really pay attention to what other guitar players are doing nowadays. I don’t think I listen to any guitar-centered music anymore sadly. totally agree with you that it's important to go outside one's usual sonic domain and expand on their musical world. One foot in the known, and the other foot into the unknown. It's one of the best ways to find the hidden realms of creativity. I literally see music discovery and innovation as an expansion of the universe; expanding the observable universe. It's deeply spiritual to me. I'm curious to hear how your musical background would synergize with an indigenous musician. I'm sure something inventive would spawn from such a collaboration.
